The AB Method

Four steps, ninety days, and a number you can defend at the end of it.

No discovery phase that runs for a quarter. No strategy deck instead of a launch. Here is precisely what happens, when it happens, and what we need from you at each point.

1 Step 1

Give us access

Read-only on Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4, Merchant Center and your revenue source.

2 Step 2

Get your growth plan

A written diagnosis with a prioritised fix list, a forecast and a recommended budget.

3 Step 3

Approve or automate

Sign off everything, or hand us the mandate and read the Monday report. Both work.

4 Step 4

Launch, learn, scale

Live in 14 days, efficiency proved by day 45, budget increases from day 60 onward.

Week by week

The first 90 days in detail.

This is the same plan we run for a $10k/month account and a $500k/month account. The depth changes; the order never does.

Week 1

Forensics

Twelve months of account history, campaign by campaign. Conversion audit: what is being counted, how many times, and at what value. Feed audit for e-commerce. Competitor auction insights and share of voice. We also ask for your margins. Without them, every ROAS target is a guess.

You get: a recorded walkthrough plus a written diagnosis.

Week 2

Signal repair

Server-side tagging, Meta CAPI with deduplication, enhanced conversions, value-weighted events, consent mode, and offline conversion upload where there is a CRM. Nothing about the ads changes this week. We are making sure the scoreboard is honest before we play.

You get: a signal health report, before and after.

Weeks 2–3

Rebuild & launch

New campaign architecture goes live: intent tiers on Search, brand-excluded PMax, consolidated Meta campaigns, negatives applied, feed cleaned, obvious waste cut. The first creative batch is already in production while this happens.

You get: the new structure, documented, plus the change log.

Weeks 4–6

Prove it

We deliberately hold spend flat. The point of this period is an unambiguous efficiency improvement at constant budget, because "we spent more and got more" is not evidence of anything. First creative tests read out, winners iterate, losers die quickly.

You get: weekly reports and the first clean before/after.

Weeks 7–10

Scale what earns it

Budget steps up campaign by campaign, only against targets being beaten, in increments small enough not to reset learning. New surfaces (YouTube, Demand Gen, a second Meta objective) are introduced one at a time so attribution stays readable.

You get: a scaling plan with ceilings and trigger points.

Weeks 11–13

Systemise

The quarterly review: what worked, what the angle library now says about your market, where the next quarter's budget should sit, and what the constraint has become, usually creative volume, landing page conversion rate, or offer.

You get: a board-ready 90-day report and the next roadmap.

Your side of it

What we need from you: honestly, not much.

The engagements that go badly are almost always the ones where one of these four things never arrived. The engagements that go well need about two hours of your time a month.

  1. Access, once. Ad accounts, analytics, Merchant Center, and ideally the back-end revenue source. Read-only is fine to start.
  2. Your real economics. Gross margin, average order value, repeat rate, and what a customer is worth over twelve months. This sets every target we use.
  3. One decision-maker. Someone who can approve a landing page change or an offer test without a committee.
  4. Raw material for creative. Product, footage, access to happy customers. We handle production; we cannot invent proof.

Working rhythm

After the first quarter, this is what a month looks like.

Daily

Account management, pacing, anomaly checks, comment moderation on live ads.

Weekly

Monday report with commentary, creative launch, Slack for anything urgent.

Monthly

Strategy call, creative review, next month's testing plan agreed.

Quarterly

Full account review, budget planning and a written 90-day roadmap.

Worth saying plainly

When we are not the right answer.

  • Under roughly $10k/month in media. A specialist freelancer will serve you better and we will name one.
  • No product-market fit yet. Ads make an unclear offer expensive, not clearer.
  • Negative unit economics you are hoping volume will fix. It will not.
  • You need results inside 30 days for a board meeting. Tracking fixes land fast; trends do not.
  • You want someone to execute a plan you have already written. We are opinionated; that would frustrate us both.

We turn down roughly a third of the brands that enquire. It is cheaper for everyone to find that out on the first call than in month four.

Free, no-obligation

Ready to see where your ad budget is leaking?

We will audit your Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts, benchmark them against your category, and send you a prioritised list of the fixes that move profit first. No contract, no pitch deck, just the findings.

Typical turnaround: 3 business days · Audits are delivered as a recorded walkthrough plus a written action plan.
